in my opinion the physics in the crysis games was damn near perfect.
However the DRM is not :-P

I have to say, until I saw those screenshots, I thought the BZ2 engine unsuitable for BZ3. Meh, maybe it would be feasible now - with a LOT more work, of course.
Anyone want perfect water? DX11 will deliver. Check this video-

As a programmer, I can say it is deplorable to depend on technology provided to do the hard work if it forces people to use only specific things, like Windows 7 is REQUIRED for DX11 and like DX10 and Vista removes hardware accelerated sound FOREVER.

Yeah.
Problem is, Crysis' engine is still pretty system-consuming.
UT3 is the best solution in my opinion.
BZ2 engine would work, but like stated before, needs a ton of work to be done on it first.

UT3 sounds nice. Though it would be more fun to make it from scratch and use Ogre3D for rendering.

I don't have any experience with either engines myself. Just curious, are there any issues with playing DX_9 games in either Vista or Win_7? Haven't heard of any myself.

The important thing to remember about the present BZ-2 Tech Alpha is that it is reportedly missing shaders and shadows. This is based upon the data I currently have THEREFORE I might be wrong.
